Dr Rajeev Kumar, MCh
Dr Rajeev Kumar is Professor of Urology and Associate Dean for Academics at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India where he obtained all his medical training.
He is Chief Editor of the Indian Journal of Urology and serves in various editorial capacities for the Journal of Urology, National Medical Journal of India, International Journal of Urology, Investigative and Clinical Urology, and the Asian Journal of Urology. He is Secretary of the World Association of Medical Editors and the Indian Association of Medical Journal Editors.
He is Co-chair of the Scientific Committee for the Société Internationale d’ Urologie and Chairman of the Scientific Committee for the Urological Association of Asia. His principal areas of clinical work are microsurgery, laparoscopy and robotics while his research focuses on MR techniques for prostate cancer and genetics of male infertility. He has published over 250 articles and book chapters and delivered over 100 lectures internationally.
